Baltimore native, Geri Strother joined the Moving History Board in 2023. She's currently the Treasurer for the organization. Though she's new to Moving History, she is not new to working with organizations focused on developing children or being involved in the community, After receiving her Bachelors from the University of Virginia, Geri began her long-time career with Kennedy Krieger Institute, focusing on hospital management and staff training in both inpatient and outpatient settings. While she worked, she earned her Masters in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University. Her involvement with youth continues as she volunteers with children programs in her church and as a coach for youth sports. Joining Moving History has been an amazing addition to her dedication to youth in the community.
