Dennell Gainey

Teaching Artist - Choir

Dennell Gainey was born in Baltimore, MD. She’s a mom, a wife, an entrepreneur, a trained singer/songwriter and a lover of Christ. She found her love for music at the age of 9. She graduated from the Baltimore School for the Arts. She then went to Morgan State University and traveled abroad with Morgan State University singers. After Morgan State, she decided to attend Alliance University in Manhattan, New York, where she graduated.

Dennell has performed in many musicals and plays. She’s sang with Darin Atwater and Soulful Symphony. She’s also been a music teacher and private vocal instructor for at least 20 years. She’s worked with many youth camps, putting together wonderful musical productions. She hopes the arts is always present and never lost in education.
