Teaching Artist - Cheer

Hello! My name is Davia Knox, and I’m a cheer instructor with over 16 years of experience in the sport. I’m an alumna of the Morgan State University cheerleading team and staff member with Urban Cheerleading. Cheer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I love getting to share that passion with my students.

I’m also a senior at Morgan State University, studying Biology while aspiring to be a dermatologist. My goal as an instructor is to create a safe, healthy, and fun environment where students can grow, build confidence, and learn the fundamentals of cheerleading.

Outside of cheer, I’m a big animal lover. I have six cats, and on my free time, I volunteer at the Baltimore Humane Society and BARCS. Working with all type of animals from cats and dogs to rabbits and birds.
